SMALLER OIL OUTPUT PREDICTED THIS YEAR NEW YORK, February 15 (P).— World petroleum production probably will decrease in 1926, Edward L. de Golyer, president of the Amerada Petroleum ,Corporation, said today, addressing the 133rd meeting of the American Xm;:ut;‘le of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers. An exx!pected increase of 10,000,000 barrels in Venezuela, between 6,000,000 and 8,000,000 barrels in Columbia and increases of a few million in Peru, Russia and the Dutch East Indies probably will be offset by considerable decrease in the United States and Mexico, he predicted. Oil production in the United States increased approximately fifty million barrels in 1925, to a mnew peak of 755,852,000, he said.
