The antf-wicket regulation promul- | mated last March was amended yester- day by the District Commissloners to permit the erection of wickets ad- jacent to sidewalks, providing a per- mit {s procured from the permit clerk of the Engineer Department. The fee for the permit wil! be $1, but the Com- missioners reserve the right to revoke it, dlameter, to be driven firmly into the ground, overlapping at least 3 inches.
