Yet when winter comes, ship-owners expect just as prompt service as at any other time. That’s why a ship carpenter sometimes has to work on a boat frozen into the harbor and with decks sheathed in solid ice. A job like that gave Mr. John Schafl’eld of 418 N. Colling- ton Ave., Baltimore, what he calls a ‘‘pippin of a cough.” But a bottle of REM came to his rescue and had him feel- ing ‘‘ship shape” again in short order. Listen to this: ‘“My work is mostly on ships, and rain or shine I’m always in the open. I've seen it so cold we would have to chop away the ice before we could start to work. One winter the harbor was froz- en over and we had to walk over a mile to a ship we were work- ing on and the lumber had to be hauled on a sleigh. *‘One bad spell I caught a cough that was a pippin all right! I coughed so, day and night, that I was all worn out fromit. Los- ing my sleep at night was what knocked me out most. *‘I didn’t get any better either till one day I bought a bottle of Rem down at Dorman’s Pharmacy on Collington Ave. & Jefferson St. That seemed to help me a lot. It cleared my throat and re- lieved the coughing so I could sleep at night. Before long the cough wasall gone. Since then I always use Rem whenever I get acough. I carry italong with me to work whenever I've got one.”’ In this climate few of us are lucky enough to escape the usual bad-weather coughs. But though we can’t escape them, we can help to get rid of them quicker. A bottle of REM has quieted many a cough. A special ingredient in REM—effective, harmless— is not found in ordinary cough syrups. Clinging to your throat as it is swallowed, REM spreads a ioothmg, healing film over the sore, inflamed mem- ranes. No Opiates in REM. And pleasant to take. Ask your druggist for REM—the blue package with the round orange label. And you can have your money back if you want it—but you won’t! Introductory size bottle, only 60c Economy size, $1.00 IEEQ has quieted many a cough —
