Bujac of Catonsville, Mad., and a great-nephew of the late Prof. and Mrs. Alfred Bujac of Wash- ington. Tor some years past Mrs. John B. Henderson has annually given a re- ception and dance in honor of the members of the Congressional Club and the gentlemen of their families, entertaining in her resldence, on Six- teenth street, but last evening the reception and dance was held in the large residence on Sixteenth street which was offered by her as a gift to the Government as a permanent home for the Vice President. It w vonderful that an unoccu- pled house could taken on an air of hominess in so short a time, for with the wide-open fireplaces and the burning Yule logs, the gay tea table and the ballroom filled with dancers, the scene was that of a well estab- lished private home. Mrs. Henderson recelved the sues alone, standing in the first drawin room and wearing a charming gown of blue silk fashioned with « full skirt and a close-fi ice of the silk, with u cor: and blue brocade. She wore pearls and diamonds. Mingled with the newer fashioned dances were the old ones, waltzes polkas, mazurkas and the Virginia reel, every one entering into the zest of the evening with merry spirit Miss Beatrice Henderson assisted her |= grandmother, remaining in the ball- room most of the time. and Mrs. John A.
