A. have organized a “flying lquld- ron” of campaligners in the interest of Bible story-telling contests, and mem- bers of the squadron are visiting the Sunday schools of varlous church each Sunday and explaining the con- test, {llustrating the Bible stories by examples. In h-pe of stimulating in- terest in _the Rible story-telling con- tests the Y. M. C. A, probably will con- tinue this work into the Winter, urg- ing the individual Sunday schools to conduct their own contests and enter the winners in the big competition held by the Y. M. C. A. every Spring. The winners in this latter contest are given substantial rewards. The members of this “fiving squad- ron” are five bovs, ranging in age from 13 to 15 vears, who were win. ners or runners-up in last year's com. petition, and who. hecause of their fluency and established reputations as story tellers, have been picked to ad- dress the Sunday schools. The cam- paign was started last Sunday. and will_continue until the majority of Sunday schools in Washington are covered. The boya are accompanied by Y. M. C. A. secretaries, who make short introductorv addresses explain- ing the nature of the work and who urge the establishment of contests in the separate Sunday schools.
