The debt commission from the Re- public of Czechoslovakia-was prepared to call on Secretary of State Kellogg and Secretary of the Treasury Mellon this afternoon to pay their respects, preliminary to opening negotiations, | |ii probably tomorrow, on the payment of thelr obligations to the United States. The delegation expected to see Sec- retary Kellogg at 2:30 o’clock and Sec- retary Mellon at 3 o'clock. Dr. Vilem Pospisil is head of the commission. In American circles today there was a feeling of confidence that the debt of the new republic, born after the World War, would be funded. It is one of the smaller obligations advanced by the United States to European countries. United States Figures Ready. The Treasury experts have prepared the American Government's figures for the conference, and the American commission was understood today to be ready to meet the visitors. Details of what positions will be held to- morrow have not been announced. Some difference as to the exact amount of the obligation, however, seems to have developed between the Amerfcan and Czechoslovakian gov- ernments. The Treasury Department |/ figures show a debt of $117,679,095, but it is understood the debtor commission has come prepared to ask for con- sideration of their debt at a smaller figure. In fact, it was understood that in diplomatic correspondence the Czecho- slovakians had said they recognized an obligation of about $80,000,000. $91,879,671 Claimed. Authorities pro- nounce it the most unique of all dental methods. Youwant clear, beautiful teeth and firm, healthy gums. You can have them—quickly. This new way re- moves the basis of “off color” teeth, the source of most tooth and gum troubles. In a few years, largely on dental advice, it has changed the tooth cleansing habits of the world. In justice to yourself, use the coupon below. A 10-day test will be sent you. It removes that stubborn film, the enemy of teeth and gums Run your tongue across your teeth, and you will feel a film . . . a viscous coat that covers them. That film is an enemy to your teeth—and your gums. You must remove it. It clings to teeth, gets into crev- ices and stays. It absorbs discolor- ations and gives your teeth that cloudy “off color” look. Germs by the millions breed init, and they, with tartar, are a chief cause of pyorrhes. Tooth troubles and gum troubles now are largely traced to that film. Old-time methods fail in successfully combating it. That's why, regardless of the care you take now, your teeth remain dull and unattractive. Whitens Teeth—Firms Gums Now, in a new type dentifrice called Pepsodent, dental science has dis- covered effective combatants. Their action is to curdle the film and re- move it, then to firm the gums. Now what you see when that film is removed—the whiteness of your teeth—will amaze you. Ordinary methods fail in these results. Thus the world has turned, largely on dental advice, to this new method. ¢ s o A few days’ use will prove its power beyond all doubt. Mail the coupon. A 10-day tube will be sent you free. Why follow old methods when world authorities urge a better way?
