The money situation was unchanged and that did much to inspire confidence in prevail- ing level of bond prices. The features were found outside the high-grade investment list. They in- cluded an advance, part of which was subsequently lost, in the New Haven convertible s, which still sell below the high of the year, although the stock exceeded its best previous price today. The current income>on all New Haven bonds is so high that changes in money rates do not affect their standing. Missouri-Kansas-Texas adjustments were higher and buying went on in Denver and Rlo Grande Western International Great Northern adjustments were up for the time, as were Chicago Great Western 48, Chesapeake and Ohio convertible 53 again advanced with the stock.
