Keane, 6 vears old, president of the New England Hotel Co., which owns and operates the Na- tional Hotel, practicing attor- ney, died University Hospital yesterday. He had been suf- fering from intestinal disorders for some time, becoming fll several da; ago. He was en to the hospital from his home, 1726 Kilbourne place, | about 10 hours before he died. Five thousand are expected to par- ticipate in a great celebration which the Columbia Heights section of Washington will hold at Herald Har. bor on Severn River, Wednesday, un- der arrangements made by the Colum- bia Heights Citizens’ Association and the Columbia Heights Business Men's Association. The program includes a parade of automobiles, headed by a brass band, and a detail of mounted police, which will leave Fourteenth street and Park road at 9:30 o'clock, go south on Four- teenth street to Thomas Circle, over ‘ermont avenue to McPherson Square, south on Madison place and East Executive avenue to Treasury place, east to Fifteenth street and down Pennsylvania avenue to Peace Monument, past the Capitol to Union station, to Third and H streets north- ease and out H street to Fifteenth and H streets northeast. There the pa- rade will disband, with Herald Harbor on the Severn River as the destina- nlun where the outers will hold a pic- nie. Electric Trains Available. For those who do not make the trip in automobiles, special trains will be run by the W., B. & A. electric line, leaving Fifteenth and H streets north- east at 9 and 11 o'clock and other hours if more cars are needed.
