Moving forward with their program for an ‘“eventually warless world,” churches in America will hold a study conference on the churches and world peace December 1, 2 and 3 in this city. The plans are well along, ac- cording to the announcement made today by Dr. Sldney L. Gulick, secre- tary” of the commission on interna- tional justice and good will of the Federal Council of Chyrches, The study conferencé idea was in- stituted by .the peace committee of fifteen communions, together with representatives of churches without formal peace committees and the com- mission on international justice and good will of the Kederal Council of Churches. More thun 60 communions are being asked to take part. It is believed that most will accept.
