The speaker said the old Chesa- peake and Ohio Canal is one of the best places in the District to find various kinds of birds, and explained that one will often see as 40 or more different species. Pictures were shown of many different species, and Mr. Oberholser gave imitations of the notes sung by many of the varl- ous kinds of birds. Allen C.
