Mother Who Threw Twin Babies From Window Found Dead. NEW YORK, April 14.—Mrs. Bessie Katz, who last December killed her twin babies by throwing them from a third-story window of her home, was found dead last night in a gas. filled apartment. Despondency over the death of the children was be- lieved to have caused the suicide. On December 2 Mrs. Katz became deranged and threw her three-weeks- old twin boys from her window and jumped out after them. One of the Children was killed almost instantly and the other -died in a few hours. Mrs. Katz received a broken arm and internal injuries. Physicians said the shock of her action had restored her mind to normal, and on recommenda- tion of the district attorney’s office the charge of homicide against her was dismissed.
