[ C., WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 500 Dresses in a Thursday Sale—At Kann’s Offerithleven New Styles in the New Susque- hanna Jacquard Faille, at the New Low Price $5.95 —This is the first time these satin figured jacquard faille dresses have been shown here at so low a price. The season’s partiality for vivid color was never more strikingly demonstrated than in these models. The material, with its satin designs on the faille background, strongly accentuates the bril- liancy of color. The long line with the flare effect at the bottom of the skirt is shown in many varia- tions. There are gathered tier ruffles, flat tiers, pleated flounces and circular flares. A number of the models have a little round yoke or collar of lace, and lace edging the ruffles; others have single jabots of lace or double jabots of georgette. Most of the dresses have short sleeves. THE KEVENING. STAR, WASHINGTON, .D. 1925. " GUNNERY RECORD SET BY NAVY SHIPS All Marks Shattered in Test on Pacific, Admiral Wiley Asserts.
