Mrs. George Barnett was prasident of patriotic advisory committee for national de- fense at & meeting at the commit-| tee's offices yesterday. The commit-i tee {8 composed of representatives of 71 national socleties and had its in- o ception in the temporary committee v which co-ordinated the activities of the patriotic socleties in support of the Government's plans for the de- fense test last September. A poliey was adopted at the meet- ing yesterday favoring an active campaign to interest all patriotic na- tional societies in the citizens’ mili- tary treining camps, to which 35,000 Americens, are expected to go this year fof a month.
