When Calvin Coolidge delivers his #peech at Memorial Continental Hall tomorrow night, accepting the Repub- lican nomination ior President, he will have the largest audience listening to him ever addressed by any man in this or any other country. Tt is estimated by thos that approximately throughout the count, of the telephone and radio, hear the words of the President on this oc- on. Will Start Campaign. All details for the notification cere- monies have been completed and the stage set for this important po- litical function, which will mean the actual starting of the Republican campaign. Less than 2,000 people will be in Memorial Continental Hall despite the fact that 25,000.000 or thereabouts will hear the speech, and according to the national committee which has been managing the affair not more than 1,700 persons will have seats. The stage will be occupied by the Presi- dent, members of the notification com- mittee and certain members of the exccutive committee. The first floor seats and boxes are reserved and only a certain_number of seats, probably less than 500, will be for the public. Telephones Hooked Up. Through arrangements with the Chesa- peake & Potomac Telephone Co. 12 high- powered radio stations as far West as the Rocky Mountains and covering di- -rectly or indirectly every section of the United States, have been connected by direct long-distance wire with the ros- trum from which the Chief Bxecutive will make his speech of acceptance. The outside of Memorial Continental Hall has been equipped with amplifiers in order that such of the public as can- not be ed inside the building will hear the dent directly.
