Fiske, who is ' 'stationed at Fort ~Hoyle nine months out of the xear, indorsed the proposal, but expressed the belief that because of the heavy expense it would entail the' War Department would not carry out the plan. In his esti- mation, Camp Meade is the best sit- this section of the country for a military post.
