PHILADELPHIA, June 16.—Wash- ington and Ottawa, the capitals of the United States and Canada, were yes- terday connected by through train service, for the first time in history, with the inauguration of “The Mon- trealer” from Washington to Mon- treal and Ottawa, and the initial trip of the corresponding southbound train, “The Washingtonian.” The new trains were established by THE Hartford, Boston and Maine.
