This meeting of the society, which will continue through Saturday, promises to be the most important in its long history. After preparing for what was expected to be @ banner attendance of 2,000 delegates, the registration committee was swamped with 3,000 ates at noon today, with still more arriving, Marks End of Conflict. Increased study, the society was told, has virtually ended conflict be- tween chemists mnd physicists.
