C, SATURDAY, Real Estate Boards Outline Activities on Special Lines PROBE Grand Jury Inquiry Into4 Activi-| Dried Bird Foretold Boer and World Conflicts by Be- Plans for the attraction of new industries into cities, plans aimed at Insuring intrinsic value to the home- buyer, plans to further the fullest and safest utilization of investment funds for the housing of the nation— these-are some of the detalls of the program to be undertaken for the year 1924 by the seven specialized natfonal divisions within the National Association of Real Estate Boards. While the national assoclation acts as a general clearing house for real estate activities for the United States and Canada, the divisions have un- dertaken to draw togéther for na- tional interchange of ideas men in tho seven specialized fields of farm land dealing, industrial property de- velopment, home building and subdl- viding, property management, broker- age, mortgage Investment and the organization of real estate boards. A study of comparative values of industrial real estate, covering the entire country, is under preparation in the industrial division of the asso- ciation. The division plans also to be of practical assistance to commu- nities in the laying out of specialized industrial_districts, the arrangement of railroad trackage to best serve the districts and the proper zoning of their industries. Mothods of attracting new indus- tries to a city will be studied by a special committee. Other committees will develop Intercity exchange of business in industrial properties and the accurate and complete evaluation of this type of property. Farm Land Dealers’ Influence., Influence of the growing organiza- tion of farm land dealers within the national assocation will be thrown to the support of the movement to make the country mot only a more profitable but a more attractive pla to live, the firstqannual report of the farm land division indicates.
