Hodge, treas of the association, 917 P street n. west, Tuesday night, to audit his ac- unts, ther found he had ended his life by inhaling illuminating gas. A tube ran from a gas outlet to his mouth. Hodge had been sick the past few days. Auditing of the accounts at this season was to be done in order to de- termine what dividend the assocla- tion would be able to duclare. Hodges' body was found on the kitchen floor. D~ McCarthy, member of the staff at Emergency Hospital, responded to an emergency call, ex- amined the body and prenounced life extinct. The deceased was a native of this city and had been employed In the water office the past six years. He is survived by his wife and one child.
