Golden, president of District 9, United Mine Workers of America, yesterday sent telegrams to officials of colliery locals having jurisdiction over Philadelphia and Reading Coal Company colllerfes in the Schuylkill- Northumberland district, directing them to call an immediate strike at any operations where an attempt is made to enforce an eight-hour ruling recently issued by the company.
