St. Bonaventure's, the new convent and houte of studles of the Friars Minor Conventuals, was blessed b: Archbishop Michael J. Curley yester dny. Blshop Shahan, rector of the | Catholic University, consecrated three of the seven altars in the chapel. The new building is opposite the campus of Catbolic University, and will be used for the fourth-year the- ologians of the order attending the university. The new building is of tapestry brick, three stories high and can ac- commodate twenty-three students. The order_has its mother house at Syracuse. N. Y., and has about fifty houses throughout the country. Following the ceremonies a lunch- eon was glven at which the arch- banquet was attended by the heads of the other orders at the university, the deans of the faculty, and a num- ber of visiting pastors.
