While tourists have not been par- ticularly numerous in Germany this season because of disturbed political jand economic conditions, .the idea of Itving within a castle, even for a day, medieval dwellings for lease next summer for the housing of paying guests are greatly in demand. The idea of making such use of castles, of which there are many in various parts of Germany, appears to have originated with the holiday fellowships, members of which { organization this year ‘made their second trip to Germany since the war. . Leaders of the holiday fellowships hired a - castle in the Rhineland, Braunfels on the Lahn and at Wolf- ach in the Black forest for the sea- son.
