Year of Trials. “The past year has been filled with trials and vicissitudes for organized labor. A constant and steady attack has been in progress, commanded by powerful interests and influences, for the weakening or the destruction of the labor movement. Every concelvable weapon and means of {ndustrial war- fare has been utilized by the attacking forces, but the flag of trade uhionism still floats at the top of the mast, un- sullied and unafraid. Labor has lost skirmishes in the past year, but it has won the great battle for the mainte- nance of labor's rights, until, today, it is stronger and more efficient than ever before in the history of the labor move- ment."” TORSO OF WOMAN FOUND N PIECES Headless Remainder of Body PLANNED TOMORROW ZR-1 to Be Inflated With Helium and Flown if Winds Are Right.
