McCurdy Was Civil War Veteran and Long Resi- dent Here. Perry Talbert McCurly, veteran of the civil war and for years employed fo the local navy yard, dled Saturday moraing at the residence of his son, Jame McCurdy, 3008 1ith street northwest, aged ninety-four years. The funeral Wil be held this after: noon at 3 ‘o'clock _from the residence of another son, Robert D. McCurdy, 511 North Arlington avenue, Balti- more, Md. The interment will be in a Baitimote cemetery. Mr. McCurdy was a native of Eliza- bethtown, Pa., where he was born June 11, 1830." During the civil war he saw’ service as @ sergeant of a company in the 106th Regiment. Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. After the war he worked at the Washington navy yard, making his home for ten years in Baltimore and commuting. He then came to Wash- {ington to make his home. He was {retired from the navy yard service ten years ago. For a time he made his_home with a daughter, Mrs. J. M. M.
