A Contrast and a Pledge Not long ago a prominent national magazine published an article con- trasting the Washington of today with the Washington of only a few decades ago. To those not familiar with the growth of Washington in recent years, many of the comparisons were start- ling—places then considered on the outskirts of town are now prominent business districts—farms entirely out- side the city are now some of the best residential sections. According to the estimates of auth- orities on the subject, Washington is having and will continue to have a sounder and more rapid growth than in the past. The Washington of the future, therefore, will quite possibly contrast as strongly with that of today, as today’s Washington contrasts with that of some years ago. These changes are constantly and imperceptibly taking place. In order that investors and others who pur- chase real estate for residential or business use may know its present value and its potential future value, it is necessary for the modern realtor to study business conditions and building trends—to know the latest refinements in home beauty and comfort, and to assist, wherever possible, in the devel- opment of new and suitable sections of the city. This necessarily has made his re- lationship with his clients one of con- fidence and has placed upon him the responsibility of seeing that the seller receives a fair price and the buyer that which he pays for, not only in land and buildings, but suitability for its intend- ed use. McKeever and Goss are constantly striving to build into their organiza- tion a more thorough understanding of these ideals. They are constantly en- hancing, by diligent study, the fund of information available for their clients. They pledge themselves to a continu- ous effort toward providing that serv- ice which it is the duty of the modern realtor to perform. In purchasing & home or business property—In leasing an « apartment or business location—we can give you helpful advice and assistance McKeever ana Goss REALTORS 1415 Eye Street, N.W.
