Finger-Prints by Wireless Is New Bertillion System Sergt. Sanberg of D. C. Police Force Explains Method. Returns After Study of Details in New York. Serst. Fred Sanberg, Bertilion ex- pert of the Metropolitan police depart- ment, has retyrned from New York after spending a week studying a new system by which finger-prints of pro- fessional eriminals may be transmitted from city to city by wireless or tele- graph. Bertillion experts frem every large city in the country were In New York at the same time, attepding a series of conferences, which wers ad- dressed by Hakon Jorgensen, deputy eommissioner of police of Copenhagen, inventor of the system. FRANKLIN, Ohio, May 23.—Two women and three children, members of the household of Bertram Williams, today lay dead in a local undertaking establishment, victims of a grade- crossing accident at Carlisle, twe miles west of here. Armed with this informatien the police coyld make an arrest without fegr of mistake and witheut loss of time. Up te the pres- ent the police have been obliged to mail copies of the quarry's finger-prints from point to point.
