An estimated reduction in the Cuban { crop from 4,100,000 tons to 3,735,000 tons by H. A. Himely, one of the leading authorities on sugar, and the continued strength in the spot mar- ket were influencing factors. RAILROAD WORKERS ASK INCREASED WAGE LEVEL Negotiations to Be Opened With Roads to Raise Salaries of Employes. The conference here was the last of four held in various sections of the country.
