NEW YORK, February 2.—Rev, Dr. Percy Stickney Grant, rector of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Ascension, has escaped trial for here- &y for his pulpit utterances, in which he professed doubt as to the deity of Christ. Between D REEVES FACES SEVEN MORE LARCENY CHARGES Lawyer and Realty Operator Waives Hearing and Is Re- leased on $4,000 Bond. Seven additional charges of larceny after trust have been filed against Ralph Doyle Reeves, thirty-three years old, 419 Upshur street, who was arrested ten days ago by Detectives O’Brien and Livingston on two similar jcharges. A preliminary examination was walved in Poliee Court in the two charges on which he was arrcsted and bond in the sum of $4,000 was Eiven to awalt the action of tho garnd ury. Reeves is a lawyer and realty oper- ator, and it is charged that financial dealings in realty transactions re- sulted - disastrousiy to the -clients named as complainants.
