Ben and Duncan Richardson and ¥, G. Bullen were charged with slaying Ira Culp, a farmer. Will Debord, the { fourth man. was convicted for the murder of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. WINFIELD HEART DISEASE VICTIM Well Known Washington Attorney Succumbs After Brief Illness. After a brief lliness, Harvey T. Winfleld. a well known' attorney of the locxl bar. died at his home, 3213 Macomb street, last night at 7 o'clock. Several weeks ago Mr. Winfleld con- tracted grip, and Sunday his condi- tion became serious, the immediate cause of his death being heart is- ease. He was fifty vears old. Funeral arrangements will be an- nounced later. Born in the District of Columbia In 1873, Mr. Winfleld graduated at the old ' Columbian Law School, now George Washington Law School. In 1892 he became associated with the firm of Ralston & Siddons, and re- mained with it, or with the firm of Ralston, & Siddons Richardson and D. C. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 1923. its successors for about twenty- eight years, being for a time a mem- ber of the firm of Ralston, Winfield & Willls. JFor a number of years past Mr. Winfleld has been presi- dent of the Suburban Title and In- vestment Corporation, and as such had charge of the legal affairs in conncetion with real estate matters of a large number of building asso- ciations, firms and individuals. Besides his wife, Helen Ella Win- fleld, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grant Leet and Mrs. F. W. Weitzel, and a brother, Hurlburt Winfleld, all of this city. $125,000 FIRE LOSS. LE N.
