NEW YORK Beauty Thru Right Food ‘White corpuscles in your blood are the “policemen of the body.” When the action of the white blood corpuscles is impaired, pim- . ples, skin eruptions and other dis- figurations appear. In experiments financed by the British Government, it was shown that without vitamins the white blood corpyscles decreased from 4000 to 1200, and with the ample feeding of Vegex, the nrumber of white blood corpuscles was in- creased to 19,000. Science has shown that the canned and processed foods most of us eat cannot build white corpuscles. These foods lack the energizing vitamins. To enrich the blood stream and multiply white corpuscles, eat Vegex, the richest of all foods in vitamin B. It is delicious, savory, appetizing. ‘Twelve pounds of richest yeast are concentrated to make one pound of Vegex. ‘Tryit—at ourrisk. If after using it for one week you are not entirely satisfied with the results, return the partly empty jar and your dealer will return your money in full. Call on your dealer today- and ask for Vegex. If he has not yet received hisstock, send ushis name and we will send you a generous sample free and prepaid. VITAMIN FOOD CO. Gotbam National Bank Bldg. MOVIES T0 REVEAL GETTYSBURG FIGHT Marines to Re-Enact Pick- ett’s Charge Before Pres- ident Harding. Special Dispatch to The Star. CAMP HARDING, GETTYSBURG, Pa., June 23.—While the opposing forces of marines are bombarding each other, emulating the famous Pickett's charge at the battle of Gettysburg, there will be a whole battalion of moving picture camera- men “shooting” the marines. / Applications for permission to take the pictures have been recived by Brig. Gen. Smedley D. Butler, com- manding the expeditionary force, from practically every moving picture cor- poration in the country, and many of them have heen forwarded by Will Hays, former Postmaster General, and now head of the moving picture in- dustry. Gen. Butler, realizing the importance of preserving a picture record showing how the Union and Confederate forces handled them- selves, and then another showing how the marines of today would op-rate, is giving every possible aid to the picture men. Permission has been granted to one company alone to send twenty cameramen. Camp Harding is well established now. with running hot and cold water in the camps, and electric light, as well as complete sewerage facilities set up by the mobile plumbing de- partment which accompanies the ex- peditionary force. The electric cur- rent is being furnished by the big generators on the field trucks, which ordinarily are used for furnishing current for lighting the gigantic searchlights used in the feld opera- tions. The members of the organization are in excellent physical condition, and they started out today to rehearse the operations of the various forces which participated in the battle of Gettysburg. They will rehearse these batties tomorrow. Friday and Satur- day. and on Sunday they will put on a realistie display for the benefit of President Harding and numerous government officials and members of Congress. While the general public will be allowed to witness these big operations, a special re-enactment of the battles will be given on Monday for general view. MT. RAINIER TOWN HALL DEBT MAY BE REMOVED Community Brotherhood Offers to Assume Obligation Under Conditions. Special Dispatch to The Star. MOUNT RAINIER, Md., June 28.— The proposal of the Community Brotherhood of Mount Rainier to as- sume the responsibility of paying oft the indebtedness on the town hail discussed at a meeting Monday night of the mayor and council; the trustees for the town hall and the executive committee of the Commu- nity Brotherhood of Mount Rainier. The brotherhood, it understood, will assume the indebtedness of the hall, provided assurances are given by the mayor and council that no more carnivals having as features any form of gambling, raffles or chance devices will be allowed and that the present open air dance pavilion be removed. The matter was presented by J. W. Adams, B. M. Dalby, W. L. Steere and other members of the brotherhood and argued from the viewpoint ot moral and civic welfare of the town. Tt was pointed out that the present dance floor is proving to be an un- desirable advertiscment for the town as a residential suburb. It was re quested that the question of an ord nance prohibiting carnivals with_the objectionable features mention enacted as a satisfactory assurance from the viewpoint of the broteer hood. This proposition was not given | direct consideration by the council. from the viewpoint of the brother- erhood that was agreed to was that no change in trusteeship whatever would be necessary. fMhe remainder of the argument hinged largely on the question as to whether paddle wheels, and chance devices connected with carnivals are gambling. The chairman of the board ! of trustees argued that while crap shooting is gambling, such carnival |devices are not. iNEGno IS REINDICTED ON CHARGE OF MURDER Edward Pinkney’s Former Case Contained Error—Other Grand Jury Findings.
