June 22.—Gross do- mestic pipe line and tank farm crude oil stocks in the United States increased 8.722.000 barrels in Mav, according to figures compiled by the American Petro- leum Institute. East of the Rockies the increase was 6,937,000 barrels and 1,- 786,000 in California. The dailv average gross crude oil pro- duction of the United States decreased 13.400 barrels for the week ending June 17, totaling 1445.300 barrels, as com pared with 1,459,100 barrels the preced- ing week, according to the weekly sum- mary. California production decreased 10,000 barrels, totaling 350.000 barrels.
