Cleanse the blood, bowels and liver with Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets, the successful substitute for calomel; there’s no sickness. or pain after taking them. Dr. Edwards’ Olive Tablets do that which calomel does, and just as effectively, but their action is gentle and safe instead of severe and irritating. No one who takes Olive Tablets is ever cursed with a “dark brown taste,” a bad breath, a dull, listless, “no good” feeling, constipation, torpid liver, bad disposition or pimply face. Olive Tablets are a purely vege- table compound mixed with olive ; you will know them by their olive color. Dr. Edwards spent years among patients afilicted with liver and bowel complaints, and Olive Tablets are the immensely effective result. ‘Take one or two nightly for a week. Y., March 8.—Crea- tion of a state public amusement commission with power to regulate dancing is proposed in a bill in- troduced in the legislature by As- semblyman William Duke, chair- man of the assembly codes com- mittee, Jazz dancing, hugging. cheek to cheek dancing, neck-hold dancing and all classes of suggestive dances are sought to be banned by the bill. The bill is drawn against meth- ods of dancing condemned at the 1921 convention of the American National Association of Masters of Dancing. Enforcement of provis- fons of the bill would be placed upon the shoulders of inspectors named by the proposed commission and approved by the Women's Christian Temperance Union and religious organization of Protest- ant, tholic and Jewish women. Dancing under dim lights 1s specifically forbidden by the bil which also has the unique tinction of containing picto lustrations of “proper dancing.” The bill describes the proper method in this fashion: The man places his arm lightly lightly in his lef® hand. At no time, the bill says, should the . dancers fail to keep thejr bodies or faces apart. Sunday dancing is sought to be prohibited and no unmarried per- son under eventeen years of age would be permitted to attend a public dance unless accompanied by one parent. Licensing of public dance halls also is intended by the bill. To be licensed, a dance hall would have to be of good repute and be &p- proved by the local fire, health and building_departments. Penaltles for violation of pro- visions of the measure include & fine of $50 for the first offense and a fiuo of $250 for the second. The bl also would make the time re for certain dances us fol- “Waltz, 48; two-step, 54; one- - step, 66; fox trot, 43." The inspéctors of the proposed commission . would be required to attend and supervise all public dances. [ | FLOGGED BY MASKED MEN.
