CHICAGO, December ~14.—That the churches are well represented in both houses of Congress is evi- denced by a statement issued by the board of temperance, prohibi- tion and ‘public morals of the Methodist Episcopal Church, which recently made a survey and issued the following statement today: Out of a total of 435 members of Congress - twenty-four are non- members, and church affiliation of ninety-eight could not be ascer- tuined.
