Haron Wrangel's entire personal fortu-se, his wife's jewels, valued aut 40,00/ francs, and important docu- ments of the Crimean government were lost on Saturday when the yacht Lucullus, on which the head of the former anti-bolshevik government in south Russia lived, was sunk by the British steamer Adria. In addition there were lost valued mementos preranted Gen. Wrangel by the late Emperor Nicholas. Investigation has proved. the ac dent was due to a swift curient and the inability of a pilot to control the Adria. The Lucullus rests in seventy feet of water, and it is believed divers may be able to recover part of the treasure. Russians here advance the theory that the sinking of the boat was the result of a plot by the bolsheviki They charge the pilot was bribed, but this accusation is not supported fn otner circles.
