The Britian are prepared to take any chances in the fight for oil. While the Americans hegitate they send ex- perts to calculate the risk and make quick decisions. The presence of petroleum in Albania has been known to the American government for months and perhaps for years. AGAINST TAX EXEMPTION. The District Commissioners have re- ported adversedly to the Senate Di trict committee on a bill seeking coi plete local tax exemption for all fra- ternal and quasi-charitable insurance associations doing business in Wash- ington.
