Monday The Hecht Co. presents A sale of new *30 to °55 dresses at *20 Fascinating fashions in the finest of fabrics Shown tomorrow for the first time Three sketched below 'THIS is the story of the newest fash- ions that 1921 has yet brought to Washington at sale prices Stated in its simplest forms, the sale provides upward of 500 new dresses 20 Now when we say these dresses were made to sell at $30 to $55 we don’t mean, they were made to sell at those prices six months ago; four months ago; Nor even as near as two months ago. made to sell at $30 made to sell at $35 ! made to sell at $40 | made to sell at $50 made to sell at $55 and all to go at They are dresses that were' made to sell within the last month at the higher prices stated, else we would not be taking a page to rave about' their beauty And rave about their beauty we must; for the fashions are fascinating—fascin- ating with the freshness of Paris inspira- tion and as exclusive as if we had se- lected each model for its individual charm —which is practically what we did. It is just this difference in the fashions —the NEWNESS of NOW in these fresh arrivals that makes this sale so different from the ordinary. For the value of these dresses lies not . in their past, but in their present applica- tion to one’s FASHION desires. And you can consider the comparative values given in the light of this statement. Once in a while a store is able to do something se big, so eutstanding that the whole feminine community stops to dis- cuss the affair. -~ The dress sale is that something!
