ATHENS, April 6.—Entire satisface tion with the military situation in Anatolia was expressed by M. Gou- naris, minister of war, upon his re- turn to this city from Paris yester- day. Prince George, brother of King Constantine, and M. Maximos, direc- tor of the National Bank of Greece, accompanied the minister home from the French capital. None of them would explain what had been done by them in London and Paris, except to say that all misunderstand- ings between Greece and the allies had been cleared up.. M. Maximos asserted there was no reason for uneasiness. as the coun- try was amply supplied with funds to carry on the war against the Turk- ish 'nationalists for three months without the mecessity of outside help. Resumption of the Greek attack on the city of Eski-Shehr. southeast of Ismid, Asia Minor. will come in a few days, M. Gounaris told the cor- respondent. Telegrams to this cit from Smyrna say that the secc phase of the Greek operations eas of that city will open shortly. Allles May Use Fleets. C., WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5. BavnHovsCo.
