TWENTY HELD AS DRUNKS Only One of Prisoners Intoxicated From Real Whisky. Twenty persons were arrested in this city last night before 11 o'clock on charges of intoxication. A lone ‘drunk” was held in the first precinet, and it was recorded that he had im- bibed real unadulterated whisky, while two prisoners in the second pre- cinét were alleged to have been made intoxicated by drinking alcohol. The eleventh precinct was the only one without a single risoner charged with drunkenness. Charges of intoxication and driving a horse while in such condition were lodged against Andrew Davis, forty years old. who gave his address as 807 Maryland avenue northeast, at the fifth precinct police station last night by Policeman Hayden. Charges of selling and illegal pos- session of whisky were lodged against Ida Taylor, colored, 1223 North Caro- lina avenue southeast, by police of the ninth precinct last night, it being charged that she sold whisky.
