CLEVELAND, Ohio, December 12.—The Ohio democrats are laying wires to wrest the state from republican hands next fall. It is unerstood here that their candidate for governor is to be Representative Paul Sorg, and that John R. McLean will be their choice for the United States Senate. The democrats hope that the republicans will be split up over factional differences, and that it will be a matter of little diffi- culty to elect a democratic governor and legislature next year.
