William A. Cook in Judge Kimball's court this morning. Lawyers C. Maurice Smith and J. A. Suther- land were with him. “I'll go his security this time,” added Mr. Smith. Col. A Young Colored Man Who Was Arrested on ‘ion. Max Rosenthal keeps a second-hand store on 7th street, and among his patrons yesterday was @ young colored man named Lawrence Brown. He had a gold locket filled with per- fame and he wanted to sell the piece of jewelry for much less than its value. On the locket was the name “Rev. H.T. Sharp,” and this arouged the dealer's suspicion tuat there was something wrong about the ownership. ‘The dealer questioned the young man, who said he bad purchased the locket for 84.50.
