Fritz Witmer, a well-known German, who for eleven years has kept a saloou at the corner of 29th and M streots, died last night in Pitteburg, Pa.,from the effects of a fall which he sus- ined last Tuesday. Arrangements are rapidly being completed for the Christian Endeavor convention to be held in Madfson Square Garden, in New York city, July 7 to 10. It is probable that from 800 to 500 delegates will attend from Waehing- ton.
