C. and All- Washington Teams, Two days iz the calender have become asso- ¢iated in local annals with foot ball. One is ‘Thanksgiving day, the other Christmas. Christ- ‘was practically marks the end of the foot ball season. This year, as last year, the Christmas foot ball game will be = sort of grand climax. ‘The contest will be between the Columbia Ath- Jetic Club team, the champions of the District, andapicked team representing all Washing- ton, The game will be at Capitoi Park and Will be called at 12 o'clock. The teams wili line up as follows: Coe 2 Hignt tackle. Macfarland..~ kuehtend.--* Ka Euwery—--- Quarter vac. Capt, F Burroahs Lett bal Haran “Ordway “ent half.7*“Dows é {substitutes. | Lewis ‘Those who know anything about foot ball in Washington can see at a glance over this array of names that the contest will be spirited end interesting and theevent doubtful. Mr. Sam King, who is manager of the All-Washington team, has worked most industriously and got together an eleven which will try the mettle of the District champions to the utmost. This ¢leven will be under tho direction in the field of Phil King as captain, Phil King was captain of the picked team that beat the C. A.C. tcam last Christmas. The Columbia eleven is the same that won the championship. The Ail- Washingtons are all crack players, reprosent- ing Various organizations, aud some of them are college boys now home for the holidays, who bave won high honors on many a hotly contested field. Three of the players are cap- tains of crack teama The Columbia men Fecognize the superior individual strength of the picked eleven, but hope that their team work will more than counterbalance it, since, of course, the picked team has bad no oppor- tunity for team practice. pi_ceesersnont Tara Swiss Music Boxes below cost to close in- Voice.
