Graham as pastor of Bethesda Presbyterian Church hav- ing been accepted Rev. Dr. Bullock of Wash- ington will have charge of the church until a permanent pastor 18 secured. A call has formaily been made by the congregation upon Rev. Mr. Flourney, who for eight years served as pastor of the Rockville and Bethesda churches. A new parsonage will also soon bo erected. Millet’s famons picture. “The Angelus,” which was sold to the American Art Association of New York city July 1, 1889, at the auction of the Secretan collection in Paris, has been sold once more. The negotiations have only just been completed in Paris by Mr. Austin Robert- son, representing the American Art Associ- ation. It is not known yet exactly who the purchaser is, inasmuch as Mr. Robertson's ne- gotiations have been carried on with agenta, The picture sold this time for 750,000 francs as against 530,650 francs, the price paid over a year ago by the American Art Association.
