Mrs. Morton wore a gown of bine and white figured India silk with panels of dark velvet, and # black bonnet, trimmed with gold braid. Lady Pauncefote was in a gown of dark green velvet and cloth. Mrs. Cameron was in white silk mull and black bonnet. Mrs. Windom, dark silk veiled in black net; Mrs. Noble, heliotrope cloth braided. Mrs. Rusk, pale greenand brown flowered foulard. Mrs. Harrison wore an extremely handsome Bew carriage dress of satin in stripes of black and steel blue; the stripes were converged on the body, forming fichu effect which was draped with black lace and trimmed with jet passementerie, and she wore a bonnet of black lace with a dash of jet in it. Mrs. Mckee wore a stylish dress that became her lithe figure well of red India silk figured in white and black and trimmed with biack lace, aud a hat of black net. Mrs. Bakhmeteff wore an imported dress of white Spanish lace made with panels of white silk, brocaded in a pattern of roses in natural eolors, high body of the brocade anda white Jace bonnet trimmed with gold lace. RECEIVING CONGRATULATIONS, Atthe close of the service Mr. and Mrs. Damrosch received the congratulations of their relatives, Miss Hattie, who stood near her sis- ter, stepped forward and raised the bridal veil and she received the kisses of her parents and brothers and sisters. Then the ribbons were removed that divided the other portion of the room from the bridal party. ‘The President and Mra. Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine and the Viee President and Mrs. Morton passed down stairs to the dining room, which was now opened for the service of the wedding break- fast, Mr. and Mrs. Damrosch stood against the background of marguerites and delicate ferns to receive the congratulations of the wed guests, This function occupied some time. THE WEDDING BREAKFasT.
