It was reported that ten people were killed and ten injured, The accidept was caused by a broken axle. Eight Negroes Taken Out of a South Carolina Jail and Lynched. Crarvestox, 8.C., Dec. 28.—A mob of seve eral hundred men raided the jail at Barnwell at 2 o'clock this morning, jailer and took out eight negro prisoners, charged with murder. The prisoners were taken out of town and shot todeath, The jailer was tied and forced to accompany ynchers. The whole thing was conducted ina very business-like manner, the citizens of the town not knowing anything about it.
