SHOT THROUGH TES BODY BY HER FATHER'S PISTOL. On Monday evening, between 7 and $ o'clock, a serious and perhaps fatal accident took place atthe residence of Mr. W. B. Dyer, No. 631 S sireet Dorthwest, but the circumstance did not become known outside the family unul last evening. Mr. Dyer isa policeman attached to the second precinct (to which he was trans- ferred from the first—South Washington pre- eiuet) on the t=t instant, and at the time men— tioned he was Aes to go to the station and report for duty. While thus preparing he took his pistol (one of the regular pattern) and threw ft towards a lounge a few fee, off.
