Discussion followed, and various views were expressed, the general feel- Ing appearing to be for an advance of pay to at Teast $2.50. Some advocated $3 and more, but the majority were inclined to think that $2.50 ‘was the right figure, but that no one must work = less than that price. It was finally decided A Sy ae the fixing of the rate of wages un- meeting to take ape next Wednesday night. It was urged that the plasterers pres- ent bring along with them every workman in their line in the District, so that there can be RO excune of misunderstanding, and that, above all things else. they work together in unison. veer Hamill, Keener and Edmonston were ited a committee on hall.
