Mrs. Turbin told witness that she was tired of her husband, and she intended to knock bim in the head; that he was too old for her erase he would not send his soul to heli for her. The court then adjourned. PROCEEDINGS TO DAY. The trial was resumed this morning, and man owed her some movey, and prisoner said if Turbin owed ber thing he would sols bros Dandie but he did not success. Croas-examined:— Witness did not at that Ume know, of his own knowledge, that Tar- bin had another wife, but had heard that he bad a wife and children in Virginia. Nettie gained on Lady Maud, and on the third quarter she closed the gap between them, and before reaching the third quarter pole Was neck and neck with the Lady. She lost her advantage on the long stretch home, and Lady Maud came in a length ahead.
