Williams, of the 8th precinct, with his officers, made several arrests, but failed to eet the princt whose name was ascertained be Jere: lier. The coroner was forced te go on with the inquest, and the jury found that Hadwin was beaten by Jeremiah Fuller in such a mapner as to cause death.
