Tne Hoosac Tunner.—A letter from Mr. Walter Shanley, under date of the 18th instant, states that the Hoosac Tunnel will probably be opened —_ on the 28th instant. The Shan- leys have until September 4, 1574, to complete the enlargement and ling of the tunnel, and the bese in it of one line of track, and the re- moval of all material, &c. Itis probable, how- ever, that the tunnel will be opened for travel on the 4th of July next, that being Governor Washdurn’s desire.
